Hell week for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" has practically begun. I am really excited to be opening in a week as are all the other cast members! We worked so hard to bring it to this point and our work has paid off...now it is coming to an end and will be sad but on the bright side we have a week left till' opening night!! There is going to be a pretty full audience for all the shows and we are very excited!!
Show Dates:
Friday - February 19, 2010 @ 7:30
Saturday - February 20, 2010 @ 7:30
Sunday - Matinee - February 21, 2010 @ 2:30 { I think :) }
Our cast has worked very hard on this show and I and all of the cast are so thrilled to finally bring this show to the stage in front of a live audience.
I will blog more later too tired, have a lot to do tomorrow!
Most thespians consider "Hell Week" to be extremely stressful and not fun. I guess it makes sense for a director to be worried... but I actually think that Hell Week is the best week of all rehearsals! I just love seeing the show coming together, and starting to use costumes, props, makeup, set, etc. It's just so much more fun than early rehearsals when props are invisible and every actor is carrying their script.
ReplyDeleteyes that is really true!
